A nostalgic piece produced out of homesickness for where the mountains and ocean meet. It is hard to describe the peace a place like this brings- still waters and walls of snow and rock surrounding every other side, life teaming from every corner- even when it cannot be seen. Glaciers nestled between almost every mountain and its neighbor. Air fresh but also tainted by the saltwater below. These were the kinds of beaches I grew up on. Rocks, and freezing waters- but beauty hard to match.
